Miss Socialite Consulting was the vision of Canville Mason a person who began to assertively develop his network of event contacts and skill at picking events around the year 2000 after college in Connecticut. After college at the University of Hartford Canville moved back to NYC and was fascinated by how complex the New York social scene was in comparison to a small city like Hartford. He began to get on more and more event lists while at the same time learning the keys to remaining in good favor with promoters and venues. The New York event scene is heavily influenced by its two largest industries Wall Street financial services and fashion. As a result if you are not big spenders, groups of guys typically are not what most promoters and venues want to attract, and we learned this through trial and error. A group of fashionable ladies should accompany no more than one male to events to ensure fast, reduced price entry to establishments in New York City. After generating a following of New York ladies, many of whom had good connections themselves, the idea of a full service program that would also assist ladies coming in from out of town was born. This company is not a promoter, and clients appreciate that. Promoters are completely biased about what they will recommend to a client. Our clients want to know that they will not be forced into dealing with one particular promoter, venue or scene. They also appreciate the fact their lodging, meals, open bar and general appointment management are all assisted by the company.
